Modern Design with a Vintage Twist - How one little stamp album started it all...

Max & Me Designs opened for business in early 2012 when my son, Max, was only 4 months old.

It all began when I was looking for a unique piece of art to hang in his nursery.  While cleaning out the cupboards I came across my old stamp album and decided to use the stamps featuring boats, cars, trains, sports and animals to create something as special and unique as my new baby boy.  And so the very first Max & Me Design was born.... The original piece,  a monogram of the letter M, still has pride of place in his room.

Before I knew it I was selling my artwork at local markets, on my own website and at selected retail outlets.

While my designs began as nursery decor the range quickly developed to include designs that will appeal to everyone, whether you're young or simply young at heart.

I love being able to take something so small and insignificant and reincarnate it into something truly beautiful and unique.

Each piece is a one of a kind and makes a wonderful keepsake gift to celebrate the arrival of a new baby, birthdays, christenings, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day or Father's Day. Or you may just want a special treat for yourself.

Every piece of art has been lovingly hand-crafted over several days.  A lot of time goes into making each artwork truly special with great care taken in the selection of the stamps and their place in the design.

Every stamp has a tale to tell and on the back of your artwork you will find a story about one of the Vintage stamps featured in your artwork.

Our jewellery range showcases some of the most beautiful stamps in the world.  The depth of colour is magnified by the crystal clear domed glass cabochon creating a truly unique piece of jewellery.  They’re certain to be a conversation starter!
